Happy Holidays & New Baby Pics

I hope this entry in my little blog finds you well and gearing up for the holiday's as much as you can this year. It's been a tough year for a lot of us and I'm really changing my view of Christmas this year. It's not about the things....because it's always been about the things...but it's about the people that we surround ourselves with, the most important people in our lives. I want to instill that in my kids because honestly it's always been about the presents and food and Santa etc. This year it's about what we have and how lucky we are to have each other. We have done our best to keep the material items in check (which is not easy for me) and let them enjoy the holiday for what it is...giving instead of receiving. I hope that no matter what your attitude is towards the holidays this year that you have a wonderful one with the ones you love the most!

Are you ready for a baby update?????

Well, I'm 24 weeks along and feeling pretty good. The morning sickness has given me a break, but now it's the belly. It's just getting so big and hard to adjust to...yes, I've done this before, but it's always a trip to see yourself big and pregnant!!!! She is a healthy little baby...and growing so fast. I went to Baby Sightings yesterday and had a really nice time laying there and watching her move. She was a little lazy yesterday, so she didn't give us the regular show, but it was nice to see her resting and just hanging out. She had her little feet crisscrossed and it looked like she hanging out at the beach or something. We got to see her in 3D again and she looks more human like than before, but according to Baby Sightings, my next appointment in January will really show her facial features. The girl is getting very long...and her feet are HUGE. I have some fun pictures below to show you just how big she's getting!

Here's a photo of our little girl...she might be coughing or telling a secret to the little womb...I can't really tell!

I love this picture....her feet crisscrossed...just chillin' for another few months!

Another shot of her loooooong leg and cute little foot!!!! I can't believe how big she is getting!

A little gummy bear like, but starting to show a little more definition...she was moving her mouth a lot and this is a photo of her mouth open.

This one makes me giggle because it looks like she's smiling or something.....

We have to do the monthly profile....I remember when she was small enough to get her entire body on the screen!!!! How they grow!! :)

This is a video of the Baby with her legs crossed and towards the end she moves her feet around like she's tapping her foot to the beat of...well, whatever it is she hears in there! :)

I can't wait to go next month to see her progress!!! And of course to share it with you!! I love Baby Sightings. They are so nice there and their maternity clothes are SO cute. I told my husband that I wanted the Turquoise dress that's in the window...so if you drive by at the Northwest Promenades, you'll know what I'm talking about. Maybe he'll take a hint for the holidays! :) They also have a lady who does photography at Baby Sightings and we're going to do some pre-baby photos of the family soon and then she'll do the newborn photos as well. Baby Sightings is so fantastic!! Please...run there if you are expecting....or know someone who is. It's awesome!

I hope you enjoyed the update....gotta get back to work now. I'll update you soon! Happy Holidays everyone!!!!

20 Weeks Along...And she's growing like a weed!

Why a banana??? Because my little bundle of joy is as big as a LARGE BANANA!!!!!! HA! That's an image isn't it????

I made it!! I'm at the halfway point in my pregnancy and really really really happy about that!!! I try my best, but the fact is....I'm a horrible pregnant person. I just don't do it well. I'm still going through the sickness which is no fun. I forget about all the aches and pains that come along with it....but....and there is a but....nothing beats the feeling of my little girl rolling around in my belly!!! Nothing. What an incredible feeling!!

I went to Baby Sightings this past Saturday. As usual, the women were FANTASTIC! So kind to me and my family and seemed to be just as excited about us getting a sneak peak as we were!!!

I will tell anyone to use Baby Sightings. I feel the bonding I am experiencing with my baby is so special...and it's special for my husband and kid's too. It gives the kids something to experience with us! They giggle when they see her yawn or when she waves her arms around. It's so great. We feel like we already know her. The staff at Baby Sightings is really remarkable. They take the time to explain it all to you and give you lots of space for friends and family to come with you!!!!!

Anyway, the pictures above are of her foot and hand...so precious. The pictures below are of the baby in 3D (sorta creepy, huh) and another profile picture.

We go back in 4 weeks to see how she's grown. In another 8 weeks the 3D image will be really amazing. We'll actually be able to see who she looks like and not have to use our imaginations so much. Really...if you know someone who is expecting...you should TOTALLY send them to Baby Sightings. It has been such a wonderful experience for my family.

Now...we're talking names and nursery decor. Names stress me out...but we've had one in particular that has stuck out since the beginning...so we'll see. We have plenty of time.

Till next time!

It's a GIRL!!!

I just can't believe it...we're having another girl!! Honestly, I felt it in my gut...I just knew it would be...but you know...when they actually tell you what you're having it's always a shock! It just makes it so real!

We (my husband and 2 kids) went to Baby Sightings yesterday. They are located right next to Cold Stone Creamery (nice!) in The Northwest Promenade. Everyone there was sooooo nice and welcoming...and honestly, just as excited about this whole thing as we were! Baby Sightings is the place to go for the 3D/4D Ultrasounds and a fantastic maternity boutique! We knew we were going in to find out the sex of the baby, but I didn't know how wonderful the experience would truly be for us.

They took us into a really nice room that was spacious with LOTS of room for family members who want to come and watch the baby too! I climbed up on this nice bed and looked straight ahead at a plasma screen. From there, the sonographer gave us quality time with the new member of our family. We got to see the baby for a good 5 minutes squirming around before she told us "It's A Girl"! My son, Jack, had been hoping for a boy and my daughter, Hannah, had been hoping for...of course a girl. When we found out we were having another little girl...well...Jack wasn't too thrilled. There was some pouting. But we kept on with our session. We were able to watch the baby just kick around and really thrive! She is so cute...with a tiny little nose and tiny little feet that were SO perfect!

The picture to the left is a front view picture of the face that looks like a scary Halloween mask. But you can see the eyes and mouth pretty clear. It's just amazing. Baby Sightings really took the time to explain EVERYTHING to you! It was a wonderful experience!

The picture to the right is on the baby laying on her back....you can see her little profile and her ADORABLE nose!!!! This is my favorite picture of the whole bunch. It's funny how much you can love someone you've never even met, huh?

We also got to see the baby in 3D which made the baby look like a gummy bear. It was a great comparison and I thank the ladies at Baby Sightings for that description. It wasn't too detailed at this point, but I'm only 16 weeks. In anther 2 months we will try again and really be able to see her features. The video below really shows you what a mover she is!! I'm in for it!!!!

Wow. We're having a girl!!!
